HO-scale AC4400CW Locomotive with DCC and Sound, FXE 4513, is a detailed, prototype-accurate model designed to bring a powerful Ferromex freight locomotive to HO layouts. This unit reproduces the late-1990s Ferromex configuration, including the distinctive self-steering GE trucks used on some Ferromex orders to reduce track wear and improve traction on curves.

Inside, the model pairs a DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound and dual cube speakers for realistic audio. It is DCC-ready with Quick Plug technology and a 21-pin NEM connector for easy setup, and can run on both DC and DCC with full function control. Lighting is faithfully reproduced, with illuminated number boards and front/rear walkway lights, plus see-through cab windows and a full interior.

The locomotive rides on a heavy die-cast frame with a Genesis driveline, 5-pole motor, all-wheel drive, and robust electrical pickup for smooth, quiet operation, while fine detailing such as etched walkways, fine-scale handrails, brass horns, McHenry scale knuckle couplers, RP25 wheels, and a detailed fuel tank with fillers add to the realism and versatility on any freight roster.
