The Penwood Rural Post Office is based on a prototype structure found in rural North Carolina. It represents a "backwoods" town post office and has some nice features for this small structure. It can serve other purposes if desired - such as a general store or grocery store, and can fit on our model railroad layout in any small town or rural location. Enjoy your model of this great little structure as it finds its way into your model railroad world..
Kit includes: laser-cut walls, roof, porch, screen door assemblies, and brick-scribed chimney; Tichy windows & doors & details; stripwood; signage & wall posters; and tarpaper roofing strips.
Acknowledgement: This craftsman kit was originally designed and produced at Carolina Craftsman Kits, but with agreement, is now offered at Rail-Scale-Models.
