Scale Sound Systems Speaker RAPO-RS11 Rapido RS11, RS18u, RSC14, GP9Rm

These are Rectify Series drop-in speakers for Rapido RS11 locomotives.

TWO versions are now required:

The RAPO-RS11-RC1 speaker is long and fits RS11s that came fitted with iPhone 4 speakers from the factory. I believe versions up to 2022 are this way. No modifications are required to replace the factory speakers.

The BOWS-RS3S-RC1 speaker fits the current-run models, 2023 and newer. It also fits the RS-18u, RSC-14 and GP9Rm. No modifications are required to replace the factory speakers. You will nip the BOWS-RS3S mounting-ears off. The fifth photo shows the installation process.

There is also a speaker that replaces the RS11 short-hood weight. This is a drop-in speaker that requires no modifications and offers a deeper sound than the long-hood BOWS-RS3S speaker. The fourth photo shows this speaker. You may use it singly or combined with the BOWS-RS3S speaker for a dual-speaker configuration. DO NOT use the short-hood speaker combined with the stock speakers; it will load the power-amp down, causing it to fail and it won't sound good while doing it!

The speaker comes fully assembled and tested.
