Scale Sound Systems Speaker AHGS 7920 Athearn Genesis 2018 - 2024 Production GP7/9/15/18

This is a Rectify Series drop-in speaker system for Athearn Genesis GP7/9/18, GP15-1 and GP15T locomotives. The speaker uses the factory mounting screws and no modifications are needed to replace the factory speaker.

Three versions available depending on your frame:

1 - AHGS-7915 The original version that fits early Genesis GP7/9/15 runs up to around 2018-2020.

2 - AHGS-7920 A newer version that fits Athearn designs starting around 2018 to 2024 and all of the GP18 models I have seen so far.

3. AHGS-795N Current-runs with the long-hood number-board lighting package (see guide on fourth set of photos).

Which version do you need?

If your frame-mount has two, round, protruding posts that fit into holes on the stock speaker/weight and no long-hood lighting assembly, you need the original AHGS-7915 version.

If your frame-mount is flat with two screw holes and a smooth bottom on the stock speaker/weight, you need the newer AHGS-7920 version.

If your frame-mount has two, round, protruding posts that fit into holes on the stock speaker/weight WITH a separate lighting assembly for the long-hood, you need the AHGS-795N version (see guide on fourth set of photos).

The speaker comes fully assembled and tested.
